Tuning your shocks shouldn’t be a hassle, and with the Power Tank Tire and Shock Chuck, it no longer is. Traditional shock inflators rely on cumbersome zero-loss air chucks borrowed from the aviation industry, requiring wrenches and causing sore fingertips. Power Tank has revolutionized the process with an innovative design that makes nitrogen charging easier than ever.
The Power Tank Tire and Shock Chuck features knurled thumb nuts on the top and bottom, eliminating the need for tools while ensuring a secure, airtight connection to your Schrader valve. The copper washer has been replaced with a synthetic sealing material, reducing the torque required for a leak-free seal. If extra torque is needed, wrench flats are included on the bottom nut for convenience.
Unlike traditional chucks, our design allows you to close the shock under pressure in two separate actions, preventing any nitrogen loss when removing the chuck. The rebuildable construction ensures durability and long-term performance.
This is the same no-air-loss chuck used in Power Tank’s Shock Boss Shock Inflators (SIG-5600 and SIG-0500), trusted by Fox Racing Shocks for tuning Ultra4 Cars and Trophy Trucks competing in King of the Hammers and Baja 1000.
For hard-to-reach Schrader valves, consider adding a Schrader Valve Extension. If you’re working with IFP (internal floating piston) shocks that require a fill needle, the Shock Fill Needle Assembly (SIG-5000) is the perfect addition.
